What the app does

Leads the Gnostic ascent as the reverse of the fall: up through the spheres of the archons, answering each ruler with the password the texts record, to the aeons and the Fullness itself. It ends by resting in the recognition of the divine spark.

Ways in: Ascent, The Name, repeated, Withdrawal, Binaural entrainment. Every session is carried on binaural sound tuned toward theta, the slow rhythm of the edge of sleep that these rites were built to reach. More on the state.

Why the rite works

The Gnostic texts say every person carries a spark of the Pleroma, the Fullness, held captive in a world of rulers. Contact is remembering where you came from. The passwords given at each sphere make this one of the most precise ascent rites in the record, and its destination is silence.

Questions

Do I need anything besides my phone?
Headphones. The app carries the rite on binaural sound, which only works when each ear hears its own tone.
What is it based on?
The Nag Hammadi codices: the Apocryphon of John, the Gospel of Truth. The names, words and order are taken from the source and guided step by step. The full list of sources is in the Library.
Is there an EEG version?
Not yet. EEG neurofeedback editions are coming as a $19.99 add-on per app, built in order of request. They will need a Neurosity Crown headset, sold separately.
