What the app does

Builds Ezekiel’s vision element by element: the storm wind from the north, the four living creatures, the wheels within wheels full of eyes, the crystal firmament, the likeness of a man upon the throne. Each element is held in contemplation before the next is added.

Ways in: Ascent, The seal and the gaze, Binaural entrainment. Every session is carried on binaural sound tuned toward theta, the slow rhythm of the edge of sleep that these rites were built to reach. More on the state.

Why the rite works

The rabbis restricted study of the chariot to the few who were ready; it was treated as the most direct approach to God and the most perilous. The recreation uses the vision as its readers did, as a fixed sequence of images that gathers all attention to a single point.

Questions

Is there an EEG version?
Not yet. EEG neurofeedback editions are coming as a $19.99 add-on per app, built in order of request. They will need a Neurosity Crown headset, sold separately.
